The survey, which polled more than 500 digital cookbook authors, included the top 100 digital cook book sellers from across the globe, and it found that nearly two-thirds of digital cook books are in the hands of the consumer.
But the survey also revealed that digital cookers were in demand even more than digital cookery software.
The top digital cookware brands are Amazon and Apple, with Google and Microsoft having the lowest share of digital cooking products.
“Digital cookbooks are the next big thing in the digital food market,” said Andrew Rippert, senior director of marketing and sales at Adobe.

The consumer was also more likely to purchase digital cook cookbooks with recipes than the cookbooks themselves.
In 2017, more than half of consumers said they had purchased a digital Cookbook.
In 2018, digital cooker purchases outnumbered digital cook products by a margin of almost three-to-one.
The biggest digital cook device users were Apple and Amazon, with almost six-in–ten digital device owners saying they were buying a digital recipe or digital cook product in 2018.
Apple and Microsoft had the biggest digital Cookbooks of any of the top five digital cook brands.
Amazon was followed by Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
Apple’s Cookbook of the Year, Cookbook that I Recommend, was the most popular digital cook for the first time.
